Here the GT suggests the American occupaton of some foreign palace perhaps guarding the entrance to a casino at Monte Carlo. It is, however, perched at the west entrance to the Commandant's Residence ( "Quarters A" ) of the US Naval Base at Charleston, SC, now sadly abandoned, but hopefully to be restored to elegant lodging.

Thanks, Shawn, it's certainly the color I had wanted. It took months to arrive, but was worth the wait.
You are very fortunate to have a '66 GT. The '05 is clearly a retro design and the '66 is a classic in it's own right.
